Undefeated Bakersfield pulls away in 4th Quarter

Down 13-7 with the ball to start the fourth quarter, the undefeated and the visiting Knights ran out of gas as Bakersfield forced a 4th down interception before upending Bullard 40-13 Friday night in Kern County.

Tyrin Pree caught two touchdowns from Tyler Franklin while Asher Armstrong and Jayden King led the way on defense with 8 tackles and 3 tackles for loss apiece. Nate Flores recovered a fumble and Fernando Avila had a sack.

The Knights will be back in action next week as they travel to Lamonica Stadium to finish the non-league slate against undefeated Clovis High.
